Seat

The ergonomically designed seat makes the ride smooth and comfortable. The seat width secures a spacious seating. When folded up the seat takes up significantly less space, so the stairs are free for other users.

The lifting capacity of the stair lift depends on the stair angle and ranges from 288 pound with a rail angle of 45 degrees and 280 pound with a rail angle of 53 degrees.

The colours of the seat, chair leg and drive are all the same, which unites the separate parts as one and gives it a clean look (RAL 9002).

Padding

The thick and luxurious padding ensures a firm but soft seat. The sisal colour of the padding is a neutral colour which will fit in every household. The upholstery is fire retardant, liquid repellent and easy to clean.

Seat belt

A seat belt gives the user a maximum security. The seat belt is an easy-to-use one click system. In a very simple manner, the seat belt can be extended on both ends.

Control unit

The control unit is easy to operate and has already been implemented in Flow2. This means that the control unit is in use in over 15000 stair lifts world wide. A proven reliable and user friendly feature.

Swivel handle

The swivel seat ensures a safe turn from the stairs towards the hall way. With this turning you move away from the stairs and this gives the user a safe feeling.

The handle is easy to operate and can be used on both sides of the chair. This way the user can choose what is most convenient for his situation.

Footrest

The size of the footrest enables the user to place his feet comfortably next to each other. Besides the comfortable width, the colour was also taken into consideration. The darker colour on top of the foot rest ensures a clean look of the chair lift, stains or smudges from shoes won’t show easily on this darker grey colour (RAL 7024).

The foot rest has several safety edges, on both sides whether moving up or down. When the footrest drives onto an obstacle the stair lift comes to an immediate stop. The same applies when the footrest drives into on vertical obstacle, below the footrest.

Drive

The design of the drive fits the chair and chair leg perfectly. You can see that the design features of the embossing come back on the drive, the chair leg and even the Call and Sends.

There is an on/off switch on the drive. This keeps the batteries from running empty when the user goes away on holiday.

With normal use the batteries have a long usage cycle. For instance when the rail is 5 meters long and has an angle of 45 degrees, the stair lift can make 25 rides.

In addition safety is an important feature on the drive. Special safety edges on the sides of the drive are activated immediately when there is a trapping hazard.

With installation you do not need to adjust the drive to a left handed or right handed rail. The drive is on both sides completely the same. This makes it easy to hold some Levant in stock.

Rail

The aluminium rail has a slim design with the rack securely covered which gives it a modern look. In addition the aluminium rail is anodised; this keeps the surface clean. The rail supports are powder coated in RAL 7046, that colour fits neatly with the aluminium.

The rail has a possibility range between 1 and almost 10 meter of length (9.75 m) and the angle can differ from 28 till 53 degrees.

The long charging contacts ensure that the lift stops at a charging point. When the stair lift arrives at the charging point a beep informs the user that he has arrived on its location.

All the plastic parts on the rail are black (RAL 9011). This way the cable for the charging contacts goes almost unnoticed in the rail.

Safety

Two world wide acknowledged safety certificates and EMC certificate were granted to the Levant. This is the first ThyssenKrupp stair lift to have a CE and ETL certification.

Call and send

The Call and send stations are an optional features to call or send the stair lift to the up or downstairs landing. This way more people in one home can make use of the stair lift.

The call and sends have a slim design, with easy to use push buttons. The IR control has a wide range so the user does not have to point very exact to the drive. Just point to the stair lift is more than enough.

The hold-to-run buttons ensure maximum safety with usage.
